US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner visited Moscow and were expected to travel to Kyiv for talks on ending the war. Russia and Ukraine agreed not to strike each other's capitals during the negotiations. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia would not strike Kyiv for three days, and Ukraine's president offered a truce during the US visits.
