Two teenage terrorists surrender, 11-year-old female captive rescued

Two teenage members of a terrorist group, identified as Umar Mohammed, 17, and Aliu Hassan, 13, surrendered to troops of Sector 3 Operation Hadin Kai in Monguno Local Government Area of Borno State. In a separate operation, troops of 82 Division Task Force Battalion rescued an 11-year-old girl who had been abducted for a suspected spying mission in Gwoza. Additionally, troops of 101 Special Forces Battalion arrested a 60-year-old man suspected of being an Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) spy along the Cross Kanwa road in Kukawa LGA.
