Ex-IGP emerges Nasarawa SDP gov’ship candidate

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has declared former Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, as its governorship candidate for Nasarawa State. The declaration followed a replacement primary election conducted on Saturday in Lafia, with results collated from all 13 local government areas. The SDP Electoral Committee chairman, Barrister Joseph Achille, announced that 28,637 delegates participated in the exercise. Adamu was the sole candidate for the position.
