Hon. Sam Onuigbo, a member of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) board and former federal lawmaker, has expressed optimism that the zonal development commissions established by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver critical infrastructure and improve livelihoods across Nigeria. Speaking at a media interaction in Abuja, he said these commissions are designed to address developmental challenges specific to each geopolitical zone. He cited the NEDC as an example of how regional agencies can make a significant impact when properly funded and supervised.
