The Youth Development and Empowerment Initiative (YEDI) has empowered about 150 youths with digital and soft skills during an eight-day summer camp held at St. Agnes Primary School in Lagos. The programme aimed to help participants develop economic talents and make informed decisions for their careers. Programme Manager Olasode Abiola said the intervention is an annual event focused on enabling participants to become self-reliant. The training included coding and Adire textile design, with facilitators like Monica Affia of Mo Glam Concepts providing skills to improve livelihoods.
