The Minister of Education, Dr. Olatunji Alausa, has expressed satisfaction with the National Examinations Council (NECO) over its transition to Computer-Based Examinations (CBE). Alausa said the reforms have significantly strengthened the council's capacity to conduct credible examinations. He made the remarks during a meeting with the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools. The minister applauded NECO's aggressive deployment of technology in its examination processes.
