Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Engineer Tamunomini Makinde, have been conferred with chieftaincy titles by the Eleruwa of Eruwa Land, Oba Samuel Adegbola Ajobo Olurin I. The governor received the title of Aare Asoludero of Ibarapa Land, while his wife was named Yeye Aare Asoludero of Ibarapa. The titles were bestowed during activities marking the monarch's celebration. The honour recognizes the governor's contributions to the development of the Ibarapa area.
