Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, has vowed to set up an independent team to trace N33.75 billion reportedly paid to 3.29 million vulnerable households. This follows an audit report questioning whether the funds reached the intended beneficiaries. Atiku criticized the government's handling of the intervention, noting that the amount per household is barely N10,258.
