The Delta State Police Command has rescued a woman who was abducted from her residence in Sapele. According to the command's spokesperson, Bright Edafe, the woman was ambushed by armed men at the entrance of her home along Eko Amukpe Road and taken into a nearby bush. Police operatives from the Sapele Division, responding to a distress call, mobilized patrol and surveillance teams and recovered expended AK-47 ammunition shells at the scene. In collaboration with local vigilantes, the police conducted a bush combing operation that led to the woman's rescue.
