The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has dismissed claims that it lacks governorship candidates in twelve states ahead of the 2027 general elections. In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, the party insisted it has nominated candidates in all 28 states where governorship polls will hold. The NDC described the circulating report as a deliberate attempt to mislead Nigerians and stall the party's momentum. It also released the names of its governorship candidates in the twelve states mentioned in the report.
