The Special Adviser to the Senate President on Diaspora and NGOs, Dr. Jibril Tafida, has denied speculations about Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio's visit to the Senate chamber. He described claims of 'unholy access' as false. Tafida explained that Mrs. Akpabio visited on a Saturday to inspect faulty equipment and facilities, following complaints by senators and staff. He said she was accompanied by engineers and technicians, not 'marabouts' as alleged.
