Journalists covering an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Kano State were attacked on Saturday by suspected thugs. The attack occurred behind the City Campus of North West University, Kofar Nassarawa, while the journalists were returning to their office. The attackers smashed a Radio Nigeria official vehicle and damaged its rear glass. The journalists were accompanied by three policemen, but the thugs, armed with machetes and knives, carried out the attack.
