The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has refuted reports that it lacks governorship candidates in 12 states ahead of the 2027 general election. In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, the party affirmed it has duly nominated candidates in all 28 states where governorship elections will be held. The NDC described the reports as false and malicious, aimed at undermining its political growth. The party reiterated that it is fully prepared and structured for the elections.
