Russian President Vladimir Putin held approximately three hours of late-night talks in the Kremlin with US envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff on Saturday, focusing on ending the war in Ukraine. The envoys are scheduled to visit Kyiv on Sunday for the first time as part of Washington's efforts to revive negotiations. Both Russia and Ukraine agreed to refrain from striking each other's capitals for three days to facilitate the talks. Putin thanked US President Donald Trump for his efforts to end the conflict, which began in 2022.
