The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested 22 individuals in connection with an alleged illegal event. The board's spokesperson said the suspects include 12 males, some of whom were allegedly effeminate, and 10 women suspected to be sex workers. The arrests were made to prevent the event from taking place.
