The Nigeria Golf Federation has announced the maiden Oba Saheed Elegushi Open Golf Championship, named after the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi. The tournament was unveiled at the NGF Stakeholders and Golfers Summit in Abuja, which focused on sustainable growth and youth development. NGF President Otunba Olusegun Runsewe highlighted the championship as a platform for emerging players to gain international experience.
