Lekan Fatodu, Director-General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, has been praised for his swift response to a mother's social media complaint that her daughter was allegedly prevented from representing Lagos in a sporting event. Fatodu, appointed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in February 2024, has a background in journalism, communications, and public service, holding degrees from the University of Lagos and the University of Westminster.
