Okonjo-Iweala, US Lawmakers Excited as Donald Trump Signs Bill for Two-year Extension of AGOA

WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and US lawmakers welcomed President Donald Trump's signing of a bill extending AGOA for two years. The extension, which lapsed on September 30, 2025, benefits 32 African countries including Nigeria. Okonjo-Iweala expressed hope that it will boost Africa-US trade.
