A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna State, Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, has called for unity between the party's legacy members and new entrants ahead of the 2027 general elections. Mustapha, who is the ADC Legacy Chairman for 2022–2026 and Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Kaduna State, said unity and inclusiveness would be critical to the party's ability to consolidate its structures and achieve its political objectives. In a statement, the ADC chieftain described the party as a platform that had attracted Nigerians seeking what he described as credible leadership, good governance and political change. He appealed to legacy members to embrace new entrants from the coalition, while urging the latter to respect and recognise the contributions of those who built and sustained the party before the recent influx of political actors.
