Datti Baba-Ahmed, the running mate to Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election, has revealed that he advised Obi against leaving his political comfort zone ahead of the 2027 election. In an interview on MIC ON Podcast, Baba-Ahmed said he cautioned Obi against joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC), warning that the party was not suitable for him. He recounted pulling Obi aside at the Yar'Adua Centre to express his reservations.
