Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have rescued a mother and her three children from captivity. The victims, Patience Omonete (40) and her children aged 14, 12, and 10, were kidnapped on September 3, 2026, from their farm in Okpella community. The rescue was carried out in collaboration with the Edo State Security Corps and local hunters, following a coordinated operation in the forest around the Onomi-Iddo axis. The police spokesperson confirmed the successful rescue, which came after an intense manhunt.
