The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested an ex-convict behind the shipment of 1.2 kilograms of cocaine to Saudi Arabia via Lagos. According to NDLEA spokesperson Babafemi, the suspect admitted in his statement that he had masterminded some illicit drug shipments in the past. The arrest is part of ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in Nigeria. The suspect is currently in custody and will face charges related to drug trafficking.
