The management of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), led by Executive Director Nonye Ayeni, has withdrawn a directive requiring staff to use the abolished Annual Performance Evaluation Report (APER) form for the 2026 promotion exercise. The withdrawal came less than 24 hours after an exposé by SaharaReporters, but staff have raised fresh concerns about the promotion process.
