The United States Department of State has released statistics for the DV-2026 Diversity Visa programme, also known as the Green Card Lottery. The Kentucky Consular Center registered about 129,516 prospective applicants from 20,822,624 qualified entries. The programme makes up to 55,000 permanent resident visas available annually, with an effective limit of approximately 51,850 visas for DV-2026. Visa numbers are distributed across six geographic regions, with no more than seven percent allocated to any single country.
