A 37-year-old Nigerian woman, Saratu Jibo, has been reported missing after traveling from Lagos to Doha, Qatar, on Qatar Airways flight QR1408 on Tuesday. Her brother, Jonathan Jibo, raised the alarm on his X account on Saturday, stating that the family has been unable to contact her for over 48 hours since the flight landed. Saratu communicated with her family via WhatsApp during the flight using the aircraft's Wi-Fi but has not been reachable since. A person scheduled to pick her up at the airport was waiting but could not find her, and inquiries at the airport and with the airline confirmed that she collected her luggage, deepening concerns. Jonathan described Saratu as an experienced airport worker, adding to the family's worry about her whereabouts.
