Diaspora Group Blasts Atiku, Lobbyist Over Campaign Against Tinubu, Says Civil Forfeiture Case Being Misrepresented as Criminal Conviction

The Nigerians in Diaspora Monitoring Group (NDMG), USA Chapter, has condemned former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar's alleged use of a Washington lobbying campaign to undermine President Bola Tinubu. The group accused Atiku and his associates of turning domestic political rivalry into an international embarrassment for Nigeria. They also criticized the misrepresentation of a civil forfeiture case as a criminal conviction in the campaign against the president.
