Igbo group to APC: You can’t bully Nigerians into voting against conscience

The Igbo Heroes and Icons Foundation (IHIF) has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) to stop attempting to coerce Nigerians into voting against their conscience in the 2027 elections. In a statement by its National Coordinator, Hon. Chinedu Nsofor, the group expressed concern over statements by political actors that appear to threaten citizens and officeholders who do not support the APC. IHIF cited remarks by Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru warning local government chairmen of removal if the APC loses in their areas, and reports involving the Kuje Area Council chairman allegedly telling residents to support the APC or leave.
