Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Zou Jiayi, President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The meeting was attended by Egyptian officials including the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. President El-Sisi expressed Egypt's appreciation for the ongoing cooperation with AIIB, which dates back to Egypt's participation as a non-regional founding member. He highlighted the Bank's role in supporting Egypt's development efforts through financing and technical assistance for various projects.
