Former President Goodluck Jonathan has bid farewell to former Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma as he returns to his country after more than two years in Nigeria. Jonathan described Koroma as a dear friend and brother, noting that Nigeria served as his home away from home. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to provide friendship and support, and said they had encouraged dialogue with Sierra Leonean authorities to ensure Koroma's safe return. Jonathan wished him a safe journey and a peaceful new chapter.
