Prince Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has promised to reduce petrol, cooking gas, and aviation fuel prices to N200 per litre if elected in 2027. He made the pledge during a News Agency of Nigeria interview in Abuja. Adebayo said the reduction would be achieved within 12 months by reviving Nigeria's refineries and enabling modular refineries. He also promised to restore the original subsidy regime.
