Nigerian musicians BNXN, Runtown, and Patoranking are set to headline the 2026 Nigeria's 66th Independence Day Parade and Carnival in New York City. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, and is organized by the Organization for the Advancement of Nigerians (OAN) and partner organizations under the Nigerian Independence Day Committee (NIDC). The celebration is expected to attract thousands of Nigerians and members of the African diaspora. Funmi Dike, Secretary General of OAN, disclosed the lineup during a press briefing on Sunday.
