How to identify a collapsing building – NEMA

The National Emergency Management Agency has advised Nigerians to be alert to warning signs of building collapse. NEMA stated that collapses are often preceded by visible or audible signs of structural distress. These signs include cracks, unusual sounds, tilting walls, and sagging floors. The agency urged the public to recognize these signs and take early action to prevent loss of lives and property.
