UNGA: Tinubu Enjoys Unimpeded US Transit, Have No Case to Answer – Jimoh Ibrahim

Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has stated that President Bola Tinubu and his family face no restrictions on their movement in the United States during the UN General Assembly. He confirmed that the Nigerian Mission in New York has received no notification from the US government regarding any limitations on President Tinubu's activities. Citing Section 11 of the 1947 UN-U.S. Agreement, Ibrahim emphasized that representatives of member states and their families are protected from impediments to transit to and from the UN headquarters.
