In one case, an anti-corruption group petitioned alleging contract padding of over $90 million. Sources indicate that some individuals are attempting to obstruct the investigation, including filing petitions against the Commissioner of Police and his officers, while the team has reportedly resisted bribery attempts from a major participant in the alleged fraud.
