Dele Oye: Huge FX Reserves, 4.43% Growth Must Lead to Lower Food Prices, Jobs

Dele Oye, Chairman of the Alliance for Economic Research and Ethics, has acknowledged that reforms by the Bola Tinubu administration have improved Nigeria's macroeconomic stability. However, he stressed that the government must take further steps to translate these gains into lower food prices, productive jobs, and improved living standards. Oye praised the administration for difficult decisions such as petrol subsidy removal and foreign exchange reforms. He noted that macroeconomic stability is only the beginning and that tangible benefits must reach Nigerians.
