The Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) has stated that increased funding under President Bola Tinubu's administration has enabled it to intensify road rehabilitation and maintenance across Nigeria. The agency's Special Assistant to the Managing Director, Emeka Maduagwu, made this known during a monitoring tour in Akwa Ibom State. The team inspected roads such as the Ekparakwa-Azumini Road, which have been rehabilitated under FERMA's SUKUK-funded programme. Maduagwu highlighted the positive impact of the increased funding on road conditions.
