The Fusengbuwa ruling house of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State has reaffirmed its unity and determination to produce the next Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland. The family warned against attempts to frustrate its lawful turn in the succession to the vacant throne. The statement followed an enlarged meeting of princes and princesses held at Ile Nla (Agunsebi), Ijebu-Ode, where leaders briefed members on the succession process and legal steps being taken. The meeting was co-chaired by Otunba Abdulateef Owoyemi, Chairman of the ruling house, and other officials.
