Troops of the Nigerian Army's COAS Special Intervention Battalion 7, Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have dislodged terrorists from their hideouts in Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State. During the clearance operation, troops recovered high-calibre weapons, ammunition, and motorcycles. The operation targeted villages including Manu, Alkasim, and Kandam, as well as the Magarya forest axis, where terrorists were engaged and forced to flee. This offensive is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist enclaves and restore security in the North-West.
