Adeyanju hails EFCC’s achievements, urges probe of increased state revenues

Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has praised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for its achievements under Chairman Ola Olukoyede. He urged the agency to focus on how increased revenues accruing to state governments are being utilized, especially after the removal of the petrol subsidy. Adeyanju emphasized that the fight against corruption should include preventing the diversion of future public resources. He called on the EFCC to investigate credible allegations of fund misuse and to follow the money from allocation to expenditure.
