The 4th edition of the Gas Investment Forum (GIF 2026) is scheduled to take place at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos from September 29 to 30. The event will bring together government leaders, regulators, investors, and industry professionals to discuss investment opportunities in Nigeria's gas sector. With the theme 'Positioning Nigeria as Africa's Global Gas Powerhouse,' the forum aims to leverage Nigeria's substantial natural gas reserves, which stood at 215.19 trillion cubic feet as of January 1, 2026, according to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.
