The Nigerian stock market recorded a positive week as investors gained N3.73 trillion on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX). This gain precedes Nigeria's transition from an unclassified to a frontier market later this month. The NGX All-Share Index rose by 2.4% week-on-week to 246,992.44 points, driven by gains in MTN Nigeria, Seplat Energy, Zenith, and FirstHoldco. The market capitalization increased to N159.558 trillion from N155.825 trillion the previous week, while trading volume and value declined by 37.3% week-on-week.
