Mr. Onishi Yohei, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, visited the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe from September 1 to 6. He attended the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony of President Carlos Manuel Vila Nova on September 3. The following day, he paid a courtesy call on the President, presenting a letter from Japan's Prime Minister and conveying congratulations.
