The Livelihood Improvement and Family Enterprises Project in the Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) has secured an additional $32 million financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). This brings the total project budget to $129.8 million from the original $97.8 million, with a three-year extension. The project has recorded 95% disbursement of its original IFAD loan and is expanding digital and AI-powered agricultural advisory services. The announcement was made during the sixth Joint Supervision Mission in Abuja, involving the Federal Government, NDDC, and IFAD.
