Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has been honoured with the Outstanding Governor Award for the North-West by Daily Times Nigeria during the newspaper's centenary anniversary celebrations. The award was presented at the DTN@100 Times Heroes Awards held in Abuja, recognising his leadership, public service, and contributions to national development. Bolaji Okusaga, Chairman of the Times Heroes Awards Council, noted that Lawal received the highest number of nominations and votes in his category. The governor expressed gratitude to the board, management, and organising committee of Daily Times Nigeria for the recognition.
