The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Cross River State has donated 36 million naira to support the revival of a 55-year-old newspaper. The donation was announced by ALGON Chairman Yibala Inyang during a visit to the remodelled newspaper corporation in Calabar. The funds are intended to aid the newspaper's operations and modernization efforts.
