The President-General of Udo Peoples Assembly, Collins Onyewuchi, has called on government authorities to investigate alleged excessive use of force and rights infringement against residents of Udo Autonomous Community in Imo State. He urged security agencies to follow established rules of engagement when handling disputes. Onyewuchi recounted incidents that have heightened tension in the community, noting that a major dispute involves the selection of a traditional ruler following the death of the former ruler in 2020.
