Investments in women, girls, and youths are transforming lives in refugee and host communities in Kenya, according to a UN Women project. The Government of Japan-funded project, 'Enhancing Women's Resilience in Refugee Camps and Host Communities,' has been implemented in Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Integrated Settlement. It has helped create pathways to economic empowerment and self-reliance, with women and young people building sustainable livelihoods and accessing essential services.
