UN human rights chief Volker Türk has renewed his call for an end to the war in Sudan, now in its fourth year. The conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces has displaced over six million people internally and forced 4.5 million to flee abroad. Türk warned of the deteriorating situation in Kordofan, Blue Nile, and Darfur, and called for an immediate ceasefire and a return to inclusive civilian rule.
