A coalition of public-interest lawyers, operating under the name SPI, has filed a lawsuit against the Federal Government and the Bureau of Public Enterprises. The suit seeks to reclaim shares in electricity distribution companies (DisCos) from the federal government. The legal action is part of ongoing efforts by states to assert control over the DisCos, which are currently held by the federal government.
