Nigeria's Falconets are set to begin their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup campaign with a Group F match against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec in Poland. The match is scheduled for 5pm Nigerian time. Nigeria has participated in every edition of the tournament and finished as runners-up in 2010 and 2014. Spain won the title in 2022 and were runners-up in 2024. In preparation, the Falconets defeated hosts Poland 1-0 in a friendly, with Mary Mamudu scoring the only goal.
